I recently took over my own website and am having such a hard time...I really am clueless. I have my local website on the left with all my additions and changes and the remote on the right and when I go to publish I get this message: Server extensions were unable to access the file "service cnf" contact isp or web server. I am sure it is just something I have to enable but I am losing my mind and have tried everything.

Any uck yet? As you probably noticed this forum is a lonely place to try to get answers. Have you tried the live help chat on the webhost4life home page or opening a support ticket?

Have you tried "enableing Front Page extensions" in the "Site Admin" section?
i.e.
Click "Site Admin" (top menu)
Click "FrontPage" (left menu)
then in the "FrontPage Service" section
click "install" or if you have Click "ReCalculate"
