Page admin setting branches close one second after expanding

When I try to administer my site, clicking "advanced settings" or other expandable menus in the setting dialogs will expand the menu options briefly, then automatically contract them as if I clicked them again. This happens when I work at home, but not at the office, so this is probably a local Internet Explorer setting somewhere.

I normally dislike the short, blunt, work around kind of answers, but here's mine:  install Firefox 3.01!  :)

As you said, it is probably an IE setting.  I also found that going through a proxy server sometimes caused similar weird problems for me at work.
