How to execute t-sql query using control panel? The Webbase Enterprise Manager doesn't have this feature.  Do we have to use third party tools?

I use SQL Server Management Studio, free from Microsoft.  Works great, even remotely.

Go to control panel 'Database' => 'MSSQL Manager', connect to your data base, and use 'Tools' => 'Query Analyser' to execute T-SQL scripts/commands.

I'd love to use SQL Server Management Studio remotely except NTL/VirginMedia deemed fit the block the ports it uses due to concerns over viruses. Darn annoying!

I wonder if there's any chance WebHost4Life could offer a second port for SQL connection. SQL 2005 can handle mutliple ports.

Cheers, Rob.

The advantage of Web based Enterprise Manager is the secure connection -- and it's faster.

However, generating SQL has been disabled (see below)...

Error 424
Object required

SQLDMO must be installed on your server so that this option is available.

And yes, DB info is not available anymore (TIMEOUT)...
