I would like to see some web development tips provided by webhost4life. Maybe some cheat sheets and quick guides introducing things like beginning PHP/ASP/.NET. I would also like to see some quick guides to basic security features, especially because of the shared hosting--how to keep your database credentials secure, how to mitigate sql injection, cross site scripting/request forgery, stuff like that. Not detailed books like how to become a professional web developer from scratch, but a quick guide for people that know basic client/server stuff already and need to remember those functions that will keep them from having to leave injection holes in their apps and leaving their database credentials in a .inc file.
There are a lot of guides like this on the Internet, but if they were from the web hosting company, we'd know if magic quotes were on or if we could use mysqli vs mysql, things like that.

It's a good practice for several good reasons NOT to use 'magic quotes' and it should be deactivated by default. Also, 'magic quotes' has been deprecated and removed as of PHP 6.0.0.
However, I agree that Webhost4life should improve the customer support and useful documentations and hints are part of it. This would also have a remarkable impact on server performance because of fewer bugs in web applications coded by beginners.

I like the idea of having some quick guides to WH4L's service and how to securely make the most of it - kind of like a tutorials or even wiki section. These are great if you have a specific task in mind.
However, there is already a ton of stuff for beginners on the net, so it is hard to justify taking the time to rewrite all of that. A good idea might be to "digg" a top-10 list of places for beginners to start, such as w3schools.com.
