Publishing a new web site from MS Frontpage 2003 - HELP
Reply Quote

Need some help.  This is my first shot at doing a web of any kind.  I bought FrontPage 2003 to help me develop a WEB site. I have the Basic package with webhost4life.  I tried to execute the 'Publish Web site' command from within FrontPage but couldn't get it to work.  It seems that it was failing due the web site not having Frontpage Server Extension. So I tried the FTP option.which seemed to get the files from my PC to my web space.  The FTP option also had problems with the web site not having Frontpage Server Extensions. I changed my "Default" page and then tried to go to my web site. I got an error trying to go to my site. - WWW.AA8R.COM.   The web that I developed contained a few pictures and link bars.

I'm thinking that because the Basic Plan doesn't have Frontpage Server Extension is some of if not all of the problems that I'm experiencing. What do you all think?

Login to your webhost4life account and turn on frontpage extension for your website first. After that you'll be able to connect.
