Hello,
I just found these forums and began looking through them. I realize you posted your question some time ago, however, I'll go ahead and answer it now.
I have worked with Rainbow in the past and had a partial site up with it. My work schedule at the office got so involved with a project that I opted to take my site down and am just now starting to rebuild it again. During the elapsed time period, Rainbow came out with a newer release. I asked the fine folks here at Webhost4life to replace the older Rainbow version install with the newer one so folks could get the latest and greatest through the self install panel. They have done that and I used it to do the new install of my site with.
So while I don't have a working site up at the moment on here with Rainbow, I do like it and certainly plan to stick with it. My reasons for that are two fold. For one, it is a good CMS system. The second reason I like it is because my main focus in programming is C# and Rainbow is written in C#.
For some other good news, there is currently a major effort underway by the core Rainbow team to make the conversion to .NET 2.0. I have been keeping tabs on that effort and work is progressing very nicely from what I am seeing and hearing.
If you have any other questions just let me know and I'll try to help you out.
Ira
