Can not run my site correctly!

webplus is content management program base on asp code. my friend runs it very well, but i donot know why i cannot.
-error I received:

the page cannot be displayed

the page you are looking for is currently unavailable. the web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.

could you tell me what i should do? i donot know much about asp (this is the first time).

i would try creating a text file and putting it in the same directory and see if you can browse to it. this will see if it is an asp issue. Then i would rename the text file with a .asp extension and try to browse to it again. if you get the same message then it is an asp setup issue. otherwise if it works then something in the default.asp file is messed up. i would need to see the code for this in order to diagnose it.

There is help for you here at WH4L https://controlpanel.mysite4now.com/wcp/default.asp?wh=1 which details how the Domain Name you type into the browser goes through the internet => through your registrar => through WH4L's Domain Name Server => to Windows IIS (Internet Information Services) which translates it (maps it name-to-folder) =>to the place you tell it to go in your file-manager tree.

The tutorial above shows you how to check that route to see where its getting lost.
