Connection to MySQL via DBTools
Reply Quote
I am attempting to connect to my MySQL database via DBTools. The database is set up and running correctly as the site is currently using it and I can connect to it via phpMyAdmin.

On the DBTools Server Manager page I have entered the following:

Database Server Engine: MySQL
Server Name: MyServer
Server Group:
Hostname: mysql100.mysite4now.com
Port: 3306
User ID: _correct_
Password: _correct_
Role:
Database: _correct_
Database Filename:

On the options tab I have tried these settings with SSL off and on.

When I click on the Test Connection button I receive "Can't connect to MySQL server on 'mysql100.mysite4now.com' (10060).

I am behind a corporate firewall so I may have an issue there. If anyone can see an incorrect setting, please let me know. Otherwise I will post here when I figure it out.
