Post SWF Video Player
I have been checking out various options for embedding a flash-based video player on my sites. What is your preference? Code your own, copy one, open source, or purchase one?

In the past I have embedded my own swf and flv files using the standard adobe player controls.
Now, there are so many free video transcoders, and players online, I would just find one you like and embed their code.

Hi Steve, Im not sure I completely follow - If you want to display video in a swf drag the flv player component onto the stage, resize it and then in the component inspector type in the path to your .flv file and change any other settings in there.

What version of flash are you using, Flash 8 has the flv player component as standard but not sure about MX...
